Colorado’s Best Dabs: Authentic Refinements
Solid product at an affordable price. Authentic Refinements is where I turn in Colorado when I need reliable quality that won’t hurt my budget.

Today I am dabbing on some very berry flavored Shark Bite live badder.

Another from Authentic Refinements this time it’s Dream Boss, a sativa dominant hybrid live badder with a grassy taste and solid hit.

“Who could go wrong with Blue Dream live badder?”I thought. I thought a classic sativa would be great after all the indica action lately. The strain is fine, but his is more wax than live badder, and… It’s the lowest quality concentrates I’ve had in Colorado. 😕 Not Colorado’s best dabs. I’m thinking too much solvent left… Not sure whether to just toss it.

Well, not everything by Authentic Refinements sucks, even though that last one did. This Valley Girl live badder is fine, if mislabeled (totally wax). It’s a good, balanced hybrid with a mild taste. I have always liked SFV OG which is one of the parents of Valley Girl. Reminds me of my Los Angeles days.

Another cheap but decent live badder that is actually a wax. This time it is a diesel tasting hybrid – Bruce Banner. Nothing special, but not bad. Ya get what ya pay for.

Well, for better and for worse Authentic Refinements is very inconsistent. This Clementine Kush live badder is exquisite, and definitely a a live badder not a wax. It’s like being gently whipped in the face by orange scented pine branches. I remember when I first came to Colorado and tried the strains here that Tangie was my favorite find and super popular back then. So it’s interesting to see the next generation of that (Tangie x Sanjay Gupta Kush = Clementine Kush). Colorado seems to like to very Indica with very Sativa to create new hybrids, unlike California which has always been about pushing all the faders to 11. Anyway, lovely.
